“Hi there! My name is Amy, and I am a Sophomore in Civil Engineering at UIUC. I chose this path because it gives me the opportunity to use my skills to make a positive, deliberate impact on people’s lives, and that mindset is the same one that motivated me to become a CARE tutor. In Civil Engineering, I am most interested in Transportation and Structural Engineering due to long term interest in the former and recent experience with the latter as a member of Illinois Solar Decathlon. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and all things music. I listen to a new album every day, write reviews, collect CDs, DJ for Pizza FM, and make some music of my own. I look forward to meeting and helping you all in the tutoring center!”
