"My name is Alexander. I have enjoyed UIUC thus far, and have spent almost every evening at CARE (Center for Academic Resources in Engineering) Tutoring, where I interact with other students but especially the tutors. I have steered many students to utilize CARE Tutoring to succeed in their courses as I have. I am involved in several RSOs (Registered Student Organizations) on campus, including Tau Beta Pi,  Steel Bridge, Institute of Transportation Engineers, American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-Of-Way Association and American Society of Civil Engineers . For fun, I like to go on extended bike rides, look at numerous types of maps (both paper and digital), swim, and research walkable cities. I am fascinated with architecture and the built environment."
